Postponed arrival

You know, a guest calls to tell you that he is coming a day later because of an appointment with his grandchildren. The reservation is then forgotten and he comes on a no-show, but you do want him to pay for the first night. In VIPS there is a great feature in the check-in screen.
Select the reservation and right click on it, then select ‘delayed arrival’. What happens then?
The first night is booked immediately and the reservation is moved to the next day. This way the reservation remains, but you can charge the costs.
